Train Wreck Gaming – S2E6 – The Gamer Division

Train Wreck Podcast, episode 6 of season 2 definitely starts off slow with a great ending. This week’s episode we open the show discussing Fallout 4’s DLC’s which fire off in March. I’ve been looking forward to them even though I have yet to complete game. New content is always welcomed with open arms. As with last week and Madcatz layoffs due to Rockband’s low sales, Activision seems to be struggling from the same issue and has laid off a large number of employees pertaining to the Guitar Hero brand. We also talk about some new figures coming out for the remake of Final Fantasy VII, this was an interesting topic as Rory filled Samm in on the manufacturer of these figures not being the best, and usually release chincy products. Of course our HotS corner hits the airwaves, Li Ming gets her nerf (she greatly needed), Anub seems to ...

Train Wreck Gaming – S2E5 – Megabots

Its Episode 5 times, sorry for the delay, things have been quite busy around the house this last week.  On the other hand, bonus for our loyal listener-base you get to listen to two episodes on a Friday while you’re sitting around work waiting to go home.  Episode 5 we’re discussing the layoffs from Madcatz, who recently published the latest game in the Rockband franchise.  It is always hard to hear folks have lost their job especially in the gaming industry.  On the other hand, the gaming industry lacks the over saturation as an industry similar to IT.  We’re also excited to hear Pokken Tournament will be utilizing existing Amiibos, the question is… HOW!?!?! And lastly before our HotS corner, its all about the Division debacle.  What do you think? Is Ubisoft lying about not dumbing down the PC version or are they telling the truth and the PC version ...

Fat Tracer

We took a look at the Lego Force Awakens video game trailer. EA has decided to not attend E3 instead they’re holding their own even just a few doors down. This week in the news there was quite a bit about Nintendo, their new online community called My Nintendo, Amiibo Sales and the top Amiibos from 2015. After the news we of course get down and dirty with some HotS news, which of course there was plenty to talk about this week, to start, the Lunar ...

Homefront: The Revolution released their co-op trailer ...

Train Wreck Gaming – S2E2 – Listenin’ Boxes

Another week and yet another Episode, do we like just listening to ourselves talk or do we think we’re actually good at doing this podcast stuff.  I’ll let you decide.  This week its more gaming talk from Samm and Rory starting off with the Five Nights at Freddy’s RPG getting its release date mid February.  We move on from that to discuss some ESPN E-Sports, Rory the ever-loving optimist give his thoughts as to why its probably going to be awesome and Samm is a bit skeptical, we’d like to hear your thoughts below.  Iron Maiden is launching an RPG and as long as its as good as the Aerosmith Genesis game both seem to be on board. Moving on from that we discuss some great stuff with Doom, as John Romero has released a new level while he “warms up” for possibly a new project? Former CEO of Sony ...

(Yes this news is old and yes it is a week late as we recorded the podcast last week it wasn’t old and the podcast wasn’t late.)  Its quite surprising how far behind you can get when you don’t do something for a month, fear not we’re back with a new build to the show and lots more to come.  We’re discussing quite a bit starting with Sony’s attempt at trademarking “Let’s Play” I couldn’t imagine what would happen were they to take over that TM.  We take a look at it through the eyes of a lawyer and review the situation as well as give ...
