Train Wreck Podcast – Ep 23 – I’m In!!!

Its time for another Train Wreck Gaming – Train Wreck Podcast.  We apologize for skipping the show last week as two of the hosts were under the weather.  This week we’re back feeling better, and discussing some great tidbits of news in the gaming industry.  Halo 5 released on Tuesday so we discussed the 60 FPS and the progressive resolution to help the Xbox meet that task.  We are discussing Alan Tudyk’s departure from the Uncharted 4 game franchise.  Overwatch his closed beta on Tuesday which meant it was time for a release of the system specs you can check them out below but we also discussed them.  No man’s sky has a release date coming up in June of 2016 for the PC and PS4, and the leaked gun images from the Doom Alpha.  All that plus our Heroes of the Storm corner, Andy gives his thoughts on Artanis ...

Review: Transformers: Devastation

Transformers, more than meets the eye.  Transformers, ROBOTS IN DISGUISE! Transformers: Devastation, not just some dumb fighting game.  After watching someone else play through the first 10 to 20 minutes, it became apparent, I was completely wrong as to what I thought Transformers: Devastation was.  At its core T:D is more of a game similar to that of Devil May Cry or Dynasty Warriors (I’d be cool with a Transformers Dynasty Warriors) I rushed to Steam and picked myself up a copy for.  What I thought was going to be a fighting game (which completely turned me off) to my surprise was an incredibly beautiful cell shaded adventure that made me feel like I was playing a 1980’s episode of the Transformers.  Quite literally due to the length of the game. Art style aside, it seemed as though they brought all the original cast back to play Autobots, Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Optimus ...

Train Wreck Podcast – Ep 22 – Rory Mad

Yep, this podcast was definitely a train wreck.  Oh well we had fun as usual.  Rory is in a bad mood, so things start off a little rough and this week’s topic didn’t take hold as I thought it would.  Tis the life of a podcaster who has narrow minded co-hosts with console vision. We discuss a lot about Star Wars Battlefront, their new ultimate edition which is the digital deluxe and the season pass combined.  Costing a whopping $120 USD (that’s insane).  Along with that over the last weekend, Battlefront toted nine million unique players jumping into the open beta.  Plus if you are interested you can try out Star Citizen for the next 2 weeks free courtesy of the code: citizencon2k15.  I found an interesting article from a gentleman Rory knows of who goes by the name of Nobbel who covers a lot of the Demon Hunter lore ...

Where Are the Damn Podcasts?

Since we started going live I’ve been a bit more lax with publishing new podcasts to the site.  I think we have something like four shows which have been converted and edited for MP3 just never uploaded to our service provider.  Mainly, this is because things have become very busy around the home front.  I am literally exhausted.  Not to mention, I’ve been playing a lot of video games.  I know, instead of playing video games why don’t I release the shows?  Well, starting tonight, I’ll release all four unreleased Train Wreck Podcasts.  If you need assistance locating our show use one of the many links available to you on the front page of TrainWreckGaming.com.  Our iTunes page is there, a link to our YouTube channel is there (which by the way is where we live stream everything now).  You can also grab our RSS feed there. I want to ...
